Confessions of a Window Dresser
photo

I found this dress a few months ago in an unexpected corner of town. In my mind I could see the potental giant moths destined to fly around that place and devour all things tulle and sacred. I had to take it home.

The next part is the confession. I did not put it in the office on the "photograph and sell" rack. I did not tuck it away in the "save for party season" box. I hung it in my bedroom window, where the morning sun would catch it just right, where I would be sure to see it first thing in the morning. It was there for a month.... or two

This week I decided to sell it to help raise a little vacation cash.. sighhh. I'm doing the right thing.

Right?

Oh my gosh! This dress is amazing! I have one similar to it that I found at the SalVal here in Corinth but it is in very bad disrepair. I'm thinking about tearing it up and repurposing it... for something. :)
